Working to build a new brand in a new city

It is hard coming into a new city and trying to let people know you are out there.  We moved our family here to Chicago this past fall and literally it has taken me this long to get to this blog.  If you haven't checked out my new sites Rebekah Byrd Photography (headshots/weddings)and Byrdhouse Photography (maternity, newborn, and children's portraiture), please do and let me know what you think.  What I would love my business to be about is creating a fresh image for area businesses in the Oak Park and Chicagoland areas.  For weddings, all I want to book is outdoor, not that I can't do indoor, I just love the outdoor wedding event.  Natural light photography is just beautiful.  So, if you know of anyone that needs a photographer still for this coming summer or fall book quickly because my summer does tend to fill up with other important events (aka family vacations with my girls, cubs game, ravinia etc.).  I also am excited to feature other businesses that I'm excited about and hope that you come to this blog for more than just a look at some fun photography but what I love about being in a new city and what I'm discovering along the way.  Hope to meet you someday and God bless!
